How does it work?

Well first check to see if you have Windows Movie Make( bundles with Windows XP or Vista). This program makes it very easy but there are other video programs that can do the same job. Then you need to have broadband internet access. Also make sure you can connect your video camera to your computer. Now we can take the next step. First, log onto our web site, www.equestrianbasics.com and look out either My Dressage Judge or My Riding Instructor and place the order. You will receive an invoice/receipt sent back to you usually within 24 hours. You need this later to verify your order but you don't have to wait for the invoice/receipt before you upload the video. You are required to include your details in your email you send to us after you have loaded up the video. We will then match your information with the order placed and if me have any problems we will contact you for verification. Remember to only send 2 dressage tests or a maximum of 12 minutes of video. Any video that is longer will automatically incur additional charges.

This is how it works   You connect your video to your computer and open up Windows Movie Maker or similar program. Select File in top menu bar and click on Import to Collection.
Select the file you want to import and then click on IMPORT button.
Video is now being imported
Once completed, left click on the mouse, hold down and drag the video into the timeline at the bottom of the screen. Then click File on top menu bar and select Save Movie.
A window pops up asking you to select Movie Location. You will select The Web option and click on NEXT
Use your name when you name the file and then click on NEXT.
You must now select movie setting. Tick the DSL option and then NEXT
The movie is now being saved.
Next you will be asked to select a Video Hosting Provider. You need to select MYDEO and double click on the sign up now. This account if free for a month which is plenty of time. Once you have completed the sign up process you will return to the screen and the uploading of the movie will be completed. Then once completed, a window pops up informing you that you have an option to save a copy of the movie to your computer or watch the movie on the web. Your choice if you want to. If not, just click on the FINISH button and the uploading is complete.

You can now log onto your account were you will find the video. Below the video there are 3 links and you need to copy and paste the STREAMING VIDEO link and SAVE A COPY link onto an email which you send to promotions@equestrianbasics.com. We will be able to access your video within minutes and send it back to you within 72 hours. You will receive an email with the links to your video and you will also have an option to save it to your computer and watch in on a rainy day. The process to upload the video and send the email to us should not take you much more than 20 minutes. If you don't have broadband access you have the option to send the video to us. We will manually process it and send you back a DVD to watch but a $20.00 surcharge apply to each video. The turnaround then is approximately 6 days from the time we receive the video until we can send it back.

* 72 hours turnaround time apply from the time we have been able to access your video and checked it to make sure it is correct. The need to contact you for any reason may cause a delay.
